Job Specifications

At Claire Nash Solicitors, we pride ourselves on being a compassionate, professional and caring law firm - providing clients with clear, trusted advice through some of life’s most significant and difficult moments.

From matrimonial matters to wills, lasting powers of attorney, equity release and probate, our work is rooted in empathy, integrity, and genuine care.

We are now looking for an Office Manager to become the heartbeat of our firm. Someone who keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes, supports the fee-earners and ensures clients receive an outstanding, seamless experience from first contact to matter completion.

The role

This is a pivotal and varied role combining office management, PA support and client coordination. You’ll be the first point of contact in the office, ensuring every enquiry and document is handled efficiently and professionally, supporting both our legal team and our clients.

You’ll also provide direct support to the Managing Partner, helping manage diaries, correspondence and client communications, while assisting with billing and other administrative processes.

The responsibilities

· Manage the smooth day-to-day running of the office, ensuring an organised and professional environment.

· Provide proactive PA support to the fee-earners including diary management, correspondence, meeting preparation and follow-up.

· Act as the triage point for all incoming client communications, ensuring queries reach the right person and clients receive timely responses.

· Assist with billing administration and coordination with the accounts’ department.

· Support document management, filing and case tracking within the firm’s systems.

· Liaise with clients, suppliers and professional partners, upholding our values of compassionate, professional and caring at all times.

· Contribute to improving processes and maintaining the warm, approachable culture that defines our firm.

The requirements

· Previous experience in office management, legal administration or PA roles (ideally within a professional services or legal setting).

· Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused mindset.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and efficiently.

· A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and genuine care for people and quality.

If you are a highly organised, people-focused professional who loves making things run seamlessly, we’d love to hear from you.

Please send your CV and we will be in touch – we believe in having real conversations through our recruitment process and we like the first stage to be over a cup of tea in our office.
