Role Summary:

The Senior Director of New Business Sales & Business Development is responsible for driving net-new logo acquisition across mid-market and enterprise accounts within the U.S. MarTech market. This role is focused exclusively on new customer growth and is a critical contributor to Softcrylic’s next phase of revenue expansion.

This individual is a proven hunter with deep MarTech expertise, strong outbound discipline, and the ability to sell complex, consultative data, AI, and marketing transformation solutions to senior decision-makers. Success is measured by qualified pipeline creation, closed new revenue, and market impact.

This is not an account management role.

 

Core Responsibilities:

 

New Business Development & Market Expansion

Identify, target, and close net-new client opportunities aligned to Softcrylic’s ICP
Develop and execute outbound strategies to expand market reach and secure new logos
Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline through proactive prospecting and strategic outreach

Executive Relationship Building

Establish relationships with senior marketing, digital, data, and technology leaders
Lead value-based conversations focused on business outcomes, not features
Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle

Pipeline & Revenue Ownership

Own the end-to-end sales process from initial outreach through close
Lead deal strategy, proposal development, pricing, and contract negotiations
Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and forecasting within CRM systems

 

Consultative & Solution Selling

Sell data, AI, and MarTech transformation engagements tailored to client needs
Collaborate closely with solution leaders and delivery teams to shape and close complex deals
Translate complex technical concepts into clear executive-level value propositions

 

Market & GTM Feedback

Stay current on MarTech and AI trends, competitive dynamics, and buyer behavior
Provide actionable market feedback to inform Softcrylic’s GTM strategy
Represent Softcrylic at industry events, conferences, and client forums

 

Measures of Success

Consistent generation of qualified net-new pipeline
Closed revenue from first-time customers
Strong conversion rates from discovery to close
Demonstrated ownership, urgency, and accountability

 

Required Qualifications

10+ years of B2B sales and business development experience with a strong focus on net-new logo acquisition
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets in complex, consultative sales environments
Deep understanding of the MarTech ecosystem and buying landscape
Demonstrated ability to self-source pipeline through outbound efforts
Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience selling to CMOs, CIOs, Chief Digital Officers, or Data & Analytics leaders
Background in consulting, digital transformation, or high-value solution sales
Established network within the U.S. MarTech ecosystem
Experience using CRM platforms and modern sales tools
