About The Program
The NCIA internship is a 6-month program based at one of our key hubs in The Netherlands, Belgium or Portugal. Our internship opportunities start from either 1 March or 1 September with the start date being dependent on the timeline to secure the required security clearance to work within the NATO community. During an internship, you will join and support a diverse international team and simultaneously learn from our experts via on-the-job training, working independently on purposeful projects or initiatives during your tenure.
About The Internship

The NATO Business Application Centre (NBAC), delivers an integrated suite of management and reporting applications which enhance productivity across Business Management, Finance, Human Resources, Acquisition, Portfolio, Programme, & Project Management (P3M), Information Management, Facility and Conference Management
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented intern to support our Business Applications Service Delivery team, which manages on-premise and cloud (SaaS) business applications for several NATO bodies. In this role, you will assist service delivery managers with monitoring service performance and performing service administration tasks to ensure reliable operations. You will also participate in daily, customer-facing application support through our service desk, developing hands-on experience with incident handling and user assistance in a dynamic IT environment. The internship offers practical exposure to service performance tracking, administrative coordination, and frontline support activities, with opportunities to build technical, analytical, and communication skills while contributing to consistent, high-quality service delivery.
About you:

Application support : Assists with specified maintenance procedures. Assists in the investigation and resolution of issues relating to applications.
Business administration : Performs routine administration activities in a structured environment. Follows clear procedures and uses standard digital tools. Stores and files information following agreed procedures. Makes simple travel and meeting arrangements.
Customer service support : Receives and handles requests for service, following agreed procedures. Promptly allocates calls as appropriate. Logs incidents and service requests and maintains relevant records.

You are currently studying towards a university-level degree or have recently graduated in the past 1
