Finance Analyst

3-6 Month Contract | Woking (3 Days On-Site) | Parking Available

£38,000–£42,000 per annum (Equivalent to hourly rate inside IR35)

We’re working with a growing organisation seeking a Finance Analyst to join their expanding head office finance team. This is a hybrid role with an initial training period fully office-based before moving to a 3/2 split.

This is a varied role ideal for someone with solid financial analysis experience who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You’ll be responsible for preparing monthly site profit and loss reports, invoicing, and supporting the wider finance team on budgeting and forecasting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly client profit & loss accounts and invoices for multiple sites
Contribute to month-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met
Work closely with Operational Managers and the Finance Business Partner to ensure reporting accuracy and relevance
Partner with Management Accountants to confirm revenue recognition is complete and accurate
Support the set-up of new site reporting and client onboarding
Ensure completeness and integrity of customer accounts
Handle client queries promptly and professionally
Build strong working relationships across finance and operational teams
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc reporting tasks

What We’re Looking For:

At least 12 months’ experience as a Finance Analyst or similar
Strong account reconciliation skills
AAT qualification preferred but not essential
Previous experience with cashless systems is required; multi-site or service industry background desirable
Proficient in Excel
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
Ability to work well under pressure in a flexible, fast-paced environment
