Role:- IT Support

Location- Mississauga, Ontario-Canada (Onsite)

Mode: Contract

JD details : -

Laptop/Desktop Support

· Proficient in providing hardware support for a range of laptop and desktop models, including Dell, Lenovo, HP, and others.

· Experienced in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows 11, Office 365, CrowdStrike, BigFix, Cisco AnyConnect, among other applications.

· Skilled at deploying and configuring operating systems and software using Autopilot and PXE boot processes.

· Knowledge in Wi-Fi configuration and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) knowledge

· Responsible for managing upgrades and patch deployment.

· Utilize remote desktop solutions such as LogMeIn and similar tools to minimize on-site interventions.

· Knowledgeable in VPN connectivity support.

Meeting Room and VVIP User Support

· Ensure daily operational readiness of all video conferencing systems like Cisco MTR.

· Deliver high-priority support to VVIP users within the office environment.

Server Room Hands and Feet Support

· Perform Windows server or Cisco and other network device reboots as required.

· Providing Remote console access to the respective domain team

· Facilitate cable or hardware swaps and assist with component replacements.

· Support remote teams in diagnostics and recovery efforts.

· Adhere strictly to physical security and access protocols.

· This function is essential for maintaining system uptime and supporting remote infrastructure operations.

Asset Maintenance

· Oversee and manage IT inventory, including laptops, desktops, and related peripherals.

· Coordinate timely updates, replacements, and asset lifecycle management from procurement to retirement.

· Address compliance and audit requirements pertaining to hardware and software assets.

Handling Tickets

· Respond promptly to incidents and service requests via Service Now.

· Maintain full compliance with established SLA targets.

· Collect regular feedback from end-users to drive ongoing service improvements.

Communication Skills

· Demonstrate strong communication abilities for interacting effectively with end-users and technical teams.

· Accurately document issues and resolutions.

· Contribute actively to meetings, updates, and knowledge transfer or training sessions.
