Senior Project Manager / Leader (Onsite – Toronto, ON)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager/Leader to lead large-scale, complex digital transformation initiatives within a multi-platform, multi-tier technical environment. The successful candidate will provide leadership across cross-functional technical teams, ensuring delivery excellence, governance compliance, and alignment with enterprise architecture and strategic objectives.

Must-Have Experience

Hands-on technical experience with:
GoldenGate implementation
Databricks
Data pipelines
Azure Data Factory
Delta Lakes
API Management (APIM)
Power Platform
FHIR standards
Strong experience in Azure environments and managing multi-integrated systems
Experience leveraging Azure DevOps for end-to-end project delivery
Experience designing and working with conceptual and logical data models
Experience implementing data platforms using medallion architecture
Sprint planning, feature planning, and backlog management
Experience collaborating with DevOps teams

Core Competencies (25%)

Strong stakeholder management and executive reporting experience
PMO experience ensuring standards, governance, and best practices are followed
Knowledge of PMI PMBOK principles and methodologies
Experience leading modernization initiatives within large, complex product development environments
Experience directing project teams to ensure deliverables meet timeline and compliance standards
Leadership in adopting and scaling CI/CD practices across product teams
Organizational strategy development and business planning experience
Creation and maintenance of detailed integrated project schedules
Development and management of complex, multi-stream budgets
Program and portfolio reporting to senior executive stakeholders

Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
Experience resolving resource conflicts and managing cross-functional dependencies

Technical Skills (40%)

Project management using Azure DevOps
Experience managing multi-integrated Azure-based systems
GoldenGate implementation experience, coordinating across multiple technical and vendor teams
Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Delta Lakes, APIM, Power Platform, FHIR
Strong understanding of conceptual and logical data modeling
Experience aligning program delivery with enterprise target state architecture
Managing technical teams delivering data platforms based on medallion architecture
Data integration expertise
Azure DevOps for:
Deployment pipeline tracking
Requirements traceability
Test coverage tracking
Sprint velocity
Feature planning
Managing Power Platform / low-code implementations
SharePoint customization experience
Experience acting as a technical advisor for complex deliverables

Project Management & Communication Skills (35%)

Extensive experience producing project documentation including:
Business cases
Project charters
Integrated project plans
Migration strategies
Roadmaps
Schedules
Experience managing integrated resource plans across interdependent projects
Financial management experience including burn rate tracking and earned value analysis
Budget forecasting and financial reporting across multiple initiatives
Development of PM best practices, templates, and governance frameworks
Collaboration with product owners to prioritize backlogs
Strong negotiation and cross-functional collaboration skills
Expertise in Agile practices including:
Story point estimation
Velocity tracking
