Junior Project Manager, £350-400 per day outside IR35
6 months rolling, London
Bench IT require a Junior Project Manager to come on-board for an assignment with a large organisation to assist them with a number of project. These project will be focussed on ServiceNow/PowerBI, Serviced Office Change & IT Asset Management. The successful candidate should have the skills and experience included below.
*Please note this role is working hybrid 3-4 day per week on site in London*
Project 1: ServiceNow/Power BI Reporting
Stakeholder and Requirements map. Complete a stakeholder Matrix and a prioritised list of must-have reports vs. Nice-to-have dashboards.
Data Source Validation: Confirm with technical teams that the required fields are available in ServiceNow and accessible to PowerBI.
Prototype Sign-off: Present wireframes/mock-ups of the top 3 reports to the steering group for approval and build.
Project 2: Serviced Offices Change (ThinClient to Laptops)
Site Audit & Inventory Verification: Produce a verified list of all TC across all in scope services offices.
Pilo Site Selection & Plan: Identity the first site for migration, agree on the date with the Office Manager, and draft the pilot comms.
Deployment Schedule Baseline: Publish the draft rollout schedule for all remaining sites for business approval.
Project 3: IT Asset Management
Current State Assessment: Document the existing asst life cycle process and highlight critical failure points of data gaps.
Gap Analysis Report: Deliver a report detailing the difference between current data accuracy and the required compliance standard.
Process Definition: Host workshops to agree on the target workflow of asset onboarding and off boarding.
Project Management Competencies
Structured Delivery Methodologies: Certification or strong practical experience in PRINCE2 or Agile/Scrum, with the ability to produce standard artifacts (Project Briefs, RAID logs, Status Reports) without supervision.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to facilitate workshops with both technical engineering teams and non-technical business stakeholders (eg, Office Managers, Finance).
Risk & Governance: Experience establishing governance structures (working groups, steering committees) and managing risks/issues to resolution in a regulated or corporate environment.
Must have experience of delivering two of the following: ServiceNow Implementation, Power BI, Infrastructure/End-User Compute Rollouts, IT Asset Management (ITAM) Process Design
