We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Master Data Process Lead to support a post-go-live environment, focusing on business-as-usual (BAU) master data creation and governance.
This is not a data migration role. The successful consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to define, document and embed clear processes for creating and maintaining master data within SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and document end-to-end master data creation processes post go-live
Work cross-functionally (Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain) to establish clear data ownership and responsibilities
Map and embed a structured operating model for ongoing master data management
Support and upskill business users in creating and maintaining master data within S/4 (GUI or Fiori)
Establish governance controls to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Required Experience:
Strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA Master Data experience (Material Master, Business Partner, Customer, Supplier etc.)
Proven experience designing and embedding BAU master data processes
Experience working in post go-live/hypercare environments
Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
Ability to translate business requirements into structured data processes
Desirable:
Experience with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)
Experience in manufacturing or supply chain-led environments
This role requires a consultant who is comfortable operating at the intersection of business process and SAP system capability - someone who can sit with users, define who does what, and implement a sustainable master data operating model.
