As part of the growth of our Energy Business Unit, we are looking for a Junior Project Engineer eager to contribute to a wide range of industrial and energy-related projects. You will join Vulcain’s engineering teams and support strategic initiatives in sectors such as nuclear, electricity and gas networks, biomass, and renewable energy.

This role is ideal for a young graduate who wants to develop technical and transversal project expertise within a stimulating, multidisciplinary, and future‑oriented environment.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

As a Project Engineer, you will be involved in the design, coordination, or follow-up of engineering activities depending on the project and client needs.

Your missions may include:

Supporting project teams in studies, design, and technical analyses (electricity, electromechanics, grid or power systems).
Participating in the follow‑up of engineering packages and ensuring technical consistency.
Contributing to the preparation and review of technical documentation.
Assisting with project planning, risk management, and reporting activities.
Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, safety, operations…).
Participating in field visits, surveys, or site coordination activities.

You will progressively gain autonomy and take on more responsibilities as you develop your technical and project management skills.

ABOUT YOU:

Master’s degree in Electromechanics or Electrical Engineering (ideally with a focus on grid, power systems, or energy‑related topics)
Strong interest in the energy sector (nuclear, networks, renewables, biomass…).
Fluent in Dutch and English (French can be an additional asset for specific projects)
Available to start in September/October 2026
