As part of the expansion of our activities in the process industries, we are looking for a junior Project / Process Engineer to join our teams in the Ghent region. You will have the opportunity to work on industrial projects within sectors such as food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, biotech, and heavy industry, supporting our clients in the transformation, optimization, and reliability of their production facilities.

This role is ideal for a young graduate eager to develop strong technical and project‑management skills in a fast‑moving industrial environment.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

As a Project / Process Engineer, you will take part in various engineering activities depending on project needs and client expectations.

Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting process and project engineering studies (design, calculations, mass & energy balances, equipment sizing…).
Participating in layout design, P&IDs, process documentation, and technical specifications for equipment or systems.
Assisting in the follow‑up of suppliers, contractors, and fabrication activities.
Contributing to project coordination tasks: planning, risk analysis, quality follow‑up, and reporting.
Participating in site visits, surveys, construction supervision, commissioning preparation, or FAT/SAT activities.
Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, automation, utilities, quality, HSE…).

As you grow in experience, you will progressively gain autonomy and take on broader responsibilities within projects.

ABOUT YOU:

Master’s degree in Industrial, Electromechanics, Mechanical or Bioscience Engineering
Interest in both technical content and project coordination.
Fluent in Dutch and English (French can be an additional asset for specific projects)
Available to start in September/October 2026
