Job Description

As part of its commercial development, Seavium is recruiting a Business Development / Sales Intern, reporting directly to the founder. The role is at the heart of the company’s commercial and operational strategy, offering direct exposure to clients, business decisions, and the overall operations of an international B2B SaaS startup.

Responsibilities

Business Development

Qualification and follow-up of existing, qualified B2B leads
Contacting prospects, presenting the platform, and giving demonstrations
Understanding client needs and proposing tailored solutions
Participating in the closing process

Prospecting

Identifying new business opportunities
Targeted and structured prospecting on international B2B accounts
Follow-ups, reminders, and pipeline enrichment

Client Management and Support

Portfolio follow-up and client management
Coordination with internal teams
Contribution to the continuous improvement of commercial processes

Indicative Time Allocation:

70%: Qualified leads and business development
20%: Prospecting
10%: Client portfolio management

Conditions

Compensation

Legal internship allowance
Variable performance-based bonus (up to 1.5× the fixed allowance)

Skills

Preferred Experience

Fluent English required (written and spoken); French is not required
Strong interest in business, B2B sales, and negotiation
Ability to interact with international professional contacts

Major advantage: proficiency in an additional language (Arabic, Dutch, Mandarin, Spanish, German, or other)

High motivation and genuine commitment

Ability to learn quickly in a demanding environment
Comfortable with direct contact, taking initiative, and responsibility

No prior experience in maritime or offshore sectors required
