**Job Opportunity: Field Engineer at Human Touch IT!**

We're expanding our team at Human Touch IT and looking for a talented Field Engineer to serve the north of Vancouver Island (based in Courtenay, BC, with onsite travel required). This role is 100% remote, and freelancers are welcome as long as you live in the Comox Valley area, Campbell River, Quadra Island, or Cortes Island—**this is mandatory before starting work**. If you're an IT specialist who loves solving problems in the field and is ready for flexible, dynamic work, this role is for you!

Note: The job will start with just a few hours per week since our company is small but super nerdy and fun to work with. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Onsite travel for installations, repairs, and maintenance in the north Vancouver Island region.
- Network cabling (LAN/WAN).
- Windows Server configuration and troubleshooting.
- Repair of printers, computers, and hardware.
- Setup of Wi-Fi, security cameras, door access controls, and firewalls.
- Advanced support for the Microsoft 365 platform (experience with Cloud 365 is ideal).
- Support ticket management.
- Production-based work, with overtime and weekends as needed.
- Mix of onsite and remote work, with flexible hours.

**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in field IT support.
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft 365, networking, and hardware.
- Availability for travel (valid driver's license and own vehicle required).
- Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Azure are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
