Overview
Seeking a Project Manager for an innovative new AI initiative. You should have 4-6 years of experience managing technical projects, with a proven track record of delivering on time and within scope. You are organized, communicative, and skilled at coordinating cross-functional teams. You thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about enabling teams to do their best work.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and deliver technical projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Define project requirements, scope, timelines, and resource needs in collaboration with stakeholders.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, designers, QA, and DevOps specialists.
Establish and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools and methodologies.
Facilitate regular status meetings, sprint ceremonies, and stakeholder updates.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, escalating issues as appropriate.
Manage project dependencies across multiple workstreams and teams.
Track project progress and produce regular status reports for stakeholders and leadership.
Ensure clear communication of expectations and requirements across all project participants.
Conduct project retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned.
Qualifications
Requirements
4-6 years of direct experience in project management, preferably with technical or software projects.
Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and within scope.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, MS Project, or similar).
Experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating resources across disciplines.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and delivery processes.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to communicate across technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with resource planning, scheduling, and workload management.
Familiarity with cloud-based projects and modern development practices.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Understanding of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).

Salary
Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 CDN per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
AI Use
